A lightweight mod that is able to improve and tweak the visual quality of a very large number of games

What's new in SweetFX 1.5.1:

  • LumaSharpen in 1.5 still had some experimental code activated when it should not have. Fixed that.
  • Changed some code and settings to workaround a bug in SweetFX Configurator. The configurator should now work fine with SweetFX 1.5.1
  • The Custom shader now have some more interesting example code that inverts the luma of the image, and it now has an example setting.

SweetFX is a tool that is able to provide image post processing in real-time while you are playing a game. It pretty much has the same role as Photoshop and AfterEffects have for image and video materials.

The mod provides a consistent number of effects which are: SMAA Anti-aliasing, FXAA Anti-aliasing, Explosion, Cartoon, Advanced CRT, LumaSharpen, Bloom, HDR, Level, Technicolor, Cineon DPX, Monochrome, Lift Gamma Gain, Tonemap, Vibrance, Curve, Sepia, Vignett, Dithe, Border and Splitscreen. Basically, it offers just about everything you need to make your games look sharper, more vivid, it improves light transitions and shadowing, contrast and saturation.

Installation in most cases comes down to keeping the archive's file structure intact and just copying the content to the game's installation folder. However, some games require a bit more work so be sure to check out the documentation that comes with this tool.

  • Download SweetFX Shader Suite Download Version 1.5.1 - SweetFX is a universal image improvement and tweaking mod, that works with almost any 32-bit DirectX 9, 10 or 11 game or application.

SweetFX game notes: Download SweetFX-1.4 and replace SweetFX_settings.txt with the one i give you.Then copy d3d9.dll dxgi.dll & injector.ini in. CS Source 2013 bin Folder.The rest of the files must stay in. CS Source 2013 main directory.

SweetFX uses a custom Direct3D runtime .dll which DirectX games call on. This means that you won't have to worry about the mod making any kind of modifications to the structure of game files.

NOTE: Depending on your knowledge of modding, image processing, filters and more, the mod can either make or break your game (visually speaking). So, to get the best results, we encourage you to go through the Readme file that is delivered with this tool.

NOTE 2: Not only does that help you get a better understanding on how things work, you also have much more information about those who deserve credit for this wonderful tool. Moreover, it also informs you of the whereabouts of a database which provides hundreds of usable game profiles.
