The region (home) location in Windows is used by various Windows services and third party apps to provide you country-specific information. For example, a news app can show you local news, and a weather app can utilize location information to provide you the actual weather forecast. If you change your location, for example, you move to or visit some other country, you might need to re-configure your home location.
For this, you can use the Settings app or the classic Control panel which is still available in Windows 10 Creators Update Preview.
Change Region and home location in Settings in Windows 10
- Open Settings.
- Go to Time & language -> Region & language.
- On the right, you will find the 'Country or region' dropdown list. There, pick the desired location. That's enough to reconfigure Windows 10.
It is a good idea to sign out and sign in back to your account to force all applications to follow the new location you set.
The same can be done via the good old Control Panel.

- Open the Control Panel.
- Go to Control PanelClock, Language, and Region.
- Click the Region icon.
- In the Region dialog, go to the tab Location:
- Under 'Home location', pick the desired place from the dropdown list:

Movies & TV is an app bundled with Windows 10. It is a replacement for Windows Media Center which was removed from Windows 10 and for Windows Media Player which is no longer being maintained or updated. Unlike Windows Media Center, the new app allows you to buy and play media content from the Windows Store. On all your devices, you can use the app to browse and play movies and TV shows you’ve purchased from the Store. Deep integration with Microsoft's content delivery service is the main reason why the app was created and bundled with Windows 10. The application is available for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile.
To change the download location for Movies & TV in Windows 10, do the following.

- Open Movies & TV. Its tile is pinned to the Start menu by default.
- Click the three dots menu button in the top right corner.
- Click on the Settings menu item.
- In Settings, go to the section Download location and click on the link Modify your storage settings.
- This will open Settings. On the right, click on the link Change where new content is saved under More storage settings.
- Select the desired location using the option New movies and TV shows will save to.
- Click on the Apply button next to the drop down list.
Now, restart the app. You are done.

Tip: There is a special option in Movies & TV which you can use to switch the app to the dark theme. It can be easily enabled without using third party tools or hacks.
